Go BIG or Go Home
What Happens When A Small-Town Family Visits The "World's Largest"... Whatever!

What Makes the “Go BIG” Family Happy

American Museum of Natural History

The GBOGH T-shirts are back and better than ever!

True, the beginning of May means an onslaught of pollen, but there are many things which have happened to us recently which make us very happy! A BIG re-cap:

1) The Go BIG or Go Home blog is currently ranked #1 in the “Reader’s Choice” category of Travel Blogs for Families on Babble.com! Please help keep us there by voting with a click on the thumbs-up icon on this page. Thank you!

2) We were invited to attend a bloggers’ “social” this past weekend at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Specifically, to visit the new exhibit, The World’s Largest Dinosaurs. Because we love all “world’s largest” things, even extinct ones! It’s a fantastic exhibit, and we’ll be posting about it in more detail next week.

3) We’re busybusybusy planning our upcoming trips to see more BIG things. COLOSSAL collections of lilacs and electronic games, LARGE living history museums, and LONG beaches! Here’s our working itinerary.

4) We’ve successfully infiltrated the minds of many of you, who have become keenly aware of BIG things in your travels and have been graciously sharing photos and news of what you’ve found! Like our friend Christina, who took the time to snap this shot of the world’s largest Gummy Bears while on vacation in St. Augustine, FL!

Ironically, her husband is a dentist...

We have guest posts coming in the next few months from more “Go BIG” enthusiasts covering everything from the world’s largest Tiffany glass dome in Chicago, the world’s largest pineapple in Australia, and the world’s largest aviation museum in Florida.

This blog is approaching its first anniversary…and it continues to bring us a lot of joy! Thanks to you!

Congrats on the ranking at Babble.com. You deserve it. Keep me laughing and I’ll keep coming back.
